Amazing WhatsApp feature will totally change how voice notes work forever

WHATSAPP is making a huge change to voice notes that will improve them dramatically.
The much-loved feature is finally getting some tweaks to make them easier to use.

Voice notes are one of the most popular ways to chat.
WhatsApp users often rely on voice notes over texts – with 200 million sent per day in 2018.
Now WhatsApp is working to make them much better.
The ever-reliable WhatsApp leak blog WABetaInfo says a brand new interface for voice notes is in the works.
You will be able to pause voice notes while they are being recorded.
This means you won’t have to stop and record a new one if you need to interrupt a note.
You will see the duration of your message, as well as an icon to send it.
This is an addition to the new ability to listen to your note before it is sent.
Unfortunately, it’s unclear exactly when the new feature will arrive.
WhatsApp seems to be developing it still, so it could take weeks or months.
Voicemail messages are particularly popular in Asia, possibly due to the difficulty of virtually writing Chinese characters.
On the WeChat messaging app in China, voicemail messages account for 16% of all messages sent.
WeChat users send around 38 billion messages per day, so around 6 billion of those messages are voice, not text.
