Arby employee arrested after throwing hot grease at driving customer

A worker at Arby’s restaurant in Hueytown, Alabama, was fired and arrested after allegedly throwing hot grease at a customer on Saturday. Learn more in the video above. The Hueytown Police Department said officers responded to a report of an altercation between a customer and an employee of Arby’s at River Square Plaza around 3:15 p.m. Upon arrival, they learned the worker threw hot grease on a driving customer, police said. The client suffered burns and was taken to UAB Hospital in Birmingham. A spokesperson for the restaurant said the employee was immediately fired and was cooperating with police. Police said the worker was taken into custody at the scene while an investigation continues. No word yet if charges have been filed.
