Daddy Showkey set to launch social media app Confam Made
March 14 (THEWILL) — Veteran singer, John Asiemo, popularly known as Daddy Showkey, has decided to give Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg a run for his money with the launch of his social media app called Confam. Made.
According to him, Confam Made will be accessible all over the world to allow people to share sweet memories.
“I don’t want sad memories and make the world realize that it’s not just the bad and ugly things that make up the whole nation. If one American is wrong, that doesn’t mean all of America is wrong. So Confam Made is trying to preach to the world that it’s not just Mark Zuckerberg who can do it,” he said of the app.
On why he chose the name, Confam Made, Daddy Showkey said, “I hate being fake because that’s my original nature. My original nature has no confirmation from anyone; I’m okay with that if it’s okay with me. That’s what it’s about.
“The app is already on social media. Just go to www.confammade.com. We are only available on the site. The app will be ready on Google Play and other platforms in two or three months.
The 51-year-old singer alongside his contemporaries African China, Danfo Drivers, Baba Fryo and Marvelous Benjy were Ajengunle’s most important musical exports in the 1990s through the early 2000s.
