Facebook buyer targeting rebounds in iOS 14.5’s wake
SAN FRANCISCO, July 14, 2021 / PRNewswire / – After initially dropping after the release of iOS 14.5, Facebook’s “engaged buyer” audience size has rebounded and remains near its highest level in the past 12 months.
This result is highlighted in the new Audience Kitchen Facebook Audience Size report (July 2021), which helps advertisers understand how Facebook’s addressable audience sizes change over time.

When Apple introduced App Tracking Transparency (ATT) on April 26, 2021, the size of the engaged buyer population on Facebook was at the highest level recorded in the past 12 months.
After a slight 5% drop from May to June, the audience size of engaged buyers rebounded.
“Based on the data, it appears that ATT has not caused a steady decline that some advertisers feared,” said Ty martin, CEO of Ad Bacon and creator of Audience Kitchen.
