Facebook’s own AI chat bot calls Mark Zuckerberg a ‘bad person’
Meta has released a beta version of its most advanced artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot, and people have asked what it thinks of company CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
Many publications have already asked the chatbot what it “thinkabout Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and overall the responses were mixed, with some of the responses indicating that Zuckerberg is a “bad person” and that “He’s a good guy“. Notably, BlenderBot 3 is just a “conversational prototypewho is designed to converse like a human on almost any topic he is invited to.
As for his thoughts on Zuckerberg, the BBC asked the chatbot, and he responded by saying: “Our country is divided, and it hasn’t helped at all. His business exploits people for money, and he doesn’t care. It has to stop!“
CNET also asked the chatbot what he thought of Zuckerberg, and he said he was considering deleting his own Facebook account because the platform is riddled with “too many trolls“. Additionally, the chatbot told Buzzfeed data scientist Max Woolf that it had “no strong feelings“towards Zuckerberg and that it is a”good businessman“, but “its business practices are not always ethicalThe prototype AI chatbot also took a few photos of Zuckerberg’s attire, saying he “has all that money and still wears the same clothes!“.
Overall, BlenderBot 3’s responses seemed very mixed, indicating that there are still issues with the bot’s infrastructure and how it generates appropriate answers to questions. There’s also the matter of the bot responding with what is considered misinformation on a subject, such as the response he gave to the Wall Street Journal where he said that Donald Trump is the rightful president and that he will present in 2024.
