To make it easier for users during the ongoing pandemic, Jio users will now be able to get multiple services through WhatsApp including recharging their cell phone number, carrying a new SIM card and more. This also applies to JioFiber and JioMart payments. All users need to do is register the number “70 00 77 0007” and send a simple “Hi” from your Jio number to WhatsApp. The bot will then open a catalog of services available via WhatsApp.
These services include Jio SIM charging, getting a new Jio SIM or port-in (MNP) card, Jio SIM card support, JioFiber support, international roaming and support for JioMart.
Jio users can also file complaints and get their questions answered through the messaging platform. Users will also be able to view information related to COVID-19 vaccination through this bot. Notably, users will also have options for different payment methods including e-wallets, UPIs, credit and debit cards, etc. Currently, the service is available in Hindi and English and will soon offer more Indian languages.
