Man Utd transfer news: Real Madrid star’s girlfriend sends expletive WhatsApp to Casemiro | Soccer | sport
The Real Madrid star’s girlfriend Federico Valverde sent an expansive WhatsApp message to Casemiro ahead of his move to Manchester United. Casemiro agreed to join the Red Devils but it didn’t sit well with everyone.
United are set to pay £60m for the Brazilian midfielder on an initial four-year deal. This will end a nine-year spell at the Bernabeu for the 30-year-old.
He won five Champions Leagues and three La Liga titles during an illustrious spell at Real. But Valverde’s partner clearly doesn’t want Casemiro to leave.
Mina Bonino, who is also a sports journalist, published a screenshot of a whatsapp message she sent to Casemiro on Friday afternoon. The message translates to: “Don’t go, you’re s***b*****d.”
She posted the tweet just minutes after United and Real confirmed a deal had been reached on Casemiro. The player is due to travel to Manchester this weekend to finalize his personal terms and undergo a medical.

“Not in a thousand lifetimes will I be able to give back to
@realmadrid and Real Madrid everything you gave me. Forever… Hala Madrid!”
Casemiro did not sign in time to be available for United’s game against rivals Liverpool on Monday. He could make his debut when Erik ten Hag’s side visit Southampton next Saturday.
United lost their first two games of the season against Brighton and Brentford. Ten Hag will continue to scour the market for new signings before the window closes on September 1.
