People Think Mark Zuckerberg’s Wax Figure Looks More Human Than Him
Although it’s made from wax, the sculpture arguably looks a lot more human-like
People have commented on the realism of Mark Zuckerberg’s Madame Tussauds waxwork – joking that it looks more human than the real Zuck.
The Facebook founder’s wax work was unveiled at San Francisco’s iconic museum in 2014 and bears a close resemblance to the man himself.
But Zuckerberg is a man who talks and acts like he’s not actually from this planet, and, despite being made of wax, the work seems to exude more humanity and zest for life, like the pointed out the Reddit community. .
Discussing the wax job on the Reddit feed r/interestingasf***, one user joked, “No kidding, though… which is which?”
” Surprise ! Neither is the original! another replied.
Others thought the explanation was simple – Zuckerberg is not human in the first place.
“The ‘real one’ is an alien robot… You didn’t know that,” one said.
Another wrote: “I’m completely convinced it’s a robot.”
A third went into more detail about what it was about wax work that didn’t work for them.
They wrote: “It’s probably a combination of a lot of very subtle things, but the best way to put it into words is that it looks like it’s missing a spark of humanity.
“I don’t know exactly what that means, but that’s the best way to describe it.
“My conscious mind can’t detect exactly what it is, but it’s missing something that’s not really quantifiable and without that it looks really weird.”
