India has one of the biggest vaccination campaigns in the world and citizens book their vaccination slots through the government platform CoWin or the Aarogya Setu app. Users can upload their vaccination certificates to these two platforms. Now you can also download vaccination certificates on WhatsApp.

In a good and useful initiative from the Union Ministry of Health, it has been informed that the Covid-19 vaccination certificate can now be obtained via WhatsApp in a matter of seconds.

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted in August last year: “Revolutionizing the life of the common man using technology! Meanwhile, the MyGov Corona Helpdesk WhatsApp chatbot allows users to find the nearest vaccination centers and authentic information, coronavirus alerts, professional advice, a fact checker and important phone numbers. Users can also find the closest Covid 19 vaccination centers to their location through the WhatsApp bot.

First, send “hello” to the chatbot and wait for the options to appear. Then select the option for centers and provide a PIN code. The chatbot will respond to you with a list of certified vaccination centers, which may take some time.

According to the Union Health Ministry, as part of the nationwide vaccination campaign in India, 150.06 crore doses of vaccine have been administered so far. The Covid vaccination program began on January 16, 2021. In total, 1 50 61 92 903 people have been vaccinated in the country, of which 90 59 360 have been vaccinated in the last 24 hours.
