Simone Biles’ new docuseries to debut on Facebook Watch on June 14 – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

Simone Biles fans have always been delighted to see her strutting the gym mat – and now a new Facebook Watch docusery will give them a behind-the-scenes look into the superstar athlete’s life.

On Tuesday, the streaming service released a trailer for “Simone vs. Herself,” a seven-part series that follows the four-time Olympic gold medalist as she prepares – both mentally and physically – for participate in the Tokyo Olympics postponed.

The trailer opens with Biles, 24, and his mother, Nellie, as Biles recalls the story behind one of his first medals.

But it is clear that the delay of the Tokyo Games weighs heavily on Biles’ mind.

“I never imagined that the Olympics would be postponed,” she shares in a voiceover as images of her practicing her sport scroll across the screen.

“Simone vs. Herself,” directed by Gotham Chopra, premieres Tuesday, June 15.
